Former US Air Force Security Policeman Richard L. Barth emailed me recently, after having watched my September 2024 interview on Australian journalist Ross Coulthart’s Reality Check podcast, during which I had discussed my five-decade-long investigation of UAP activity at US nuclear weapon deployment sites and test ranges.

Former US Air Force Security Policeman Devin C. Lingo emailed me and briefly summarized an incident he witnessed while stationed at Malmstrom AFB, Montana, in 1995, involving two orbs maneuvering near a Minuteman-III nuclear missile launch facility (LF).

Part 1 of this article discussed former Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP) director Lue Elizondo’s recent admission that he had watched the Big Sur UFO film—actually, a video copy of it—while heading-up the once-secret Pentagon UFO project from 2008 to 2017. (Funding for the group officially ended in 2012, but Elizondo maintains that its work was still ongoing at the time of his resignation from government service.)

Background

According to two former US Air Force officers—Lieutenant Bob Jacobs and Major Florenze Mansmann—a USAF photographic team based at Vandenberg AFB, California, tasked with filming missile test launches, inadvertently captured the image of a domed, disc-shaped UFO as it circled and then disabled—with four flashes of an intense beam of light—a dummy nuclear warhead flying downrange over the Pacific Ocean. Jacobs had been in charge of the telescopic photography site located at Big Sur, California, and Mansmann was Vandenberg’s chief photographic imagery analyst.

During journalist George Knapp’s November 17, 2023 interview with me—which will appear in a Netflix UFO documentary series later this year—Knapp began by asking me whether I was aware that the late US Senator Harry Reid had read my book, UFOs and Nukes: Extraordinary Encounters at Nuclear Weapons Sites.

On January 3, 2023, I was contacted by Sean Kirkpatrick , the director of the newly-established UAP (UFO) investigations group at the Pentagon—the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO)—which was recently mandated by Congress. An investigator on Capitol Hill, who I will not identify at his request, had read my book, UFOs and Nukes: Extraordinary Encounters at Nuclear Weapons Sites, and brought it to Kirkpatrick’s attention, noting its examination of more than a hundred UFO incursions at nuclear weapons sites during the Cold War era and beyond, as reported by the military veterans who had witnessed the incidents.

In the early 1970s, Michael D. Jenkins was a member of the 96th Security Police Squadron (SPS), located at Dyess AFB, Texas. At that time, the base was home to the 96th Bombardment Wing, composed of nuclear-armed B-52 bombers. The nukes were stockpiled at the Weapons Storage Area (WSA), operated by the 96th Munitions Maintenance Squadron (MMS).

Retired USAF Technical Sergeant Thomas E. Johnson recently emailed me and said,

I was a Flight Security Supervisor (FSS) for the Minuteman missiles at Grand Forks AFB, North Dakota, from May 1973 until December 1978. We had an incident around 1977, when strange lights took over our missiles. You may already have this data, so I won't go into it deeper. I just wanted to confirm that these incidents were happening.

Over the past 44 years I have interviewed more than 160 U.S. military veterans regarding their involvement in nuclear weapons-related UFO incidents. Many of the cases occurred at Minuteman Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) sites during the Cold War era. Typically, a two-man team of missile launch officers at an underground Launch Control Center (LCC) would receive an alarm on their missile-status console, indicating a possible security breach at one of the ten, widely-scattered Launch Facilities (LFs) they controlled. A two-man Security Alert Team (SAT) would then be dispatched to that location to investigate.

The reality of UFO incursions at American nuclear weapons facilities has been convincingly established. Hundreds of U.S. military veterans now openly discuss these ominous incidents and thousands of declassified government documents affirm their revelations.
